Suzuki Method
Dr. Shinichi Suzuki (1898–1998) was a visionary Japanese violinist and teacher who believed that every child has the potential to learn music. He developed the Suzuki Method, based on the “mother-tongue” approach, which teaches children to play through listening, repetition, and imitation in a nurturing environment.
At Cadence Music Academy, all young beginners start with the Suzuki Method, which builds a strong musical foundation through:
Parental involvement in every step of learning
Technique development
Understanding of musical elements
Musicality and tone cultivation
We continue Dr. Suzuki’s legacy by nurturing not only a lifelong love of music but also life lessons that extend beyond the piano:
Patience
Confidence
Discipline
Focus
Perseverance
RCM Exam Preparation
As students advance, they may choose to pursue RCM exam preparation, providing structured goals and opportunities to track their musical growth, gain recognized achievements, and build confidence through milestone accomplishments.
